What to Expect
GETTING THERE
The Lodge is located in Deckerville, just 11 miles from Port Sanilac in the thumb area of Michigan. You will enjoy your drive along the shores of Lake Huron, and begin to experience the serenity of getting away from it all.
UPON YOUR ARRIVAL
Turning into the drive you will see the beautiful pine and birch trees that surround the property. The Lodge hosts will greet you upon your arrival. You will be shown your room, where you can drop off your luggage before enjoying a welcome snack.
ACTIVITIES
Our guests are invited to enjoy and explore The Lodge, its property and beautiful Lake Huron. All activities are planned by the group or organization hosting the retreat.
DINING
Menus change seasonally based on freshness and availability. We choose fresh ingredients with simple presentations to allow the natural flavors, colors, and textures to satisfy the eye and palate as they nourish the body. The food is a definite highlight of our guests’ experience.
Gathering Spaces
The Lodge was designed with spaces where you can connect. Large groups can gather in our great room or share a meal together in our dining room. Couples may enjoy some quiet time talking in front of the fireplace, or taking prayer walks to the lake. We pray that during your time here, you will be encouraged and refreshed.
Our hope is that the great room will be a place for enriching relationships.
Rooms
The Lodge has 12 beautifully appointed rooms designed for 11 married couples or 28 singles. Each room has its own private bathroom. Amenities provided for your convenience include fresh bath and bed linens, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, and blow dryers. Extra pillows or forgotten items are also readily available.
The Lodge is a place where rest, refreshment, and reflection meet.
